Darko Brajković Njapo / BITES OF CONSUMERISM
In this online edition we are happy to present the latest art project of young istrian artist
Darko Brajković Njapo, which was recently exhibited in Grožnjans municipal gallery "Fonticus".
Darko Brajković Đepeto Njapo was born in 1986 in Pula.
His first contacts with artistic shaping were achieved in stonecutting workshop of his grandpa Petar Jurić in Pazin.
Afterwards he enrolled stonecutting workshop Siparis in studio of Janez and Aleš Pirnat in Kator, Umag.
Participated in activities of "Um-art" gallery in Umag (managed by Alessandro Bumbak).
In 2002 he participated in multimedia project Modernity 2002. (produced by young people from Istria)
He is creatively associated with multimedia artist Andrej Zbašnik, performer David Belas and CGI association.
Has exhibited on many of juried collective and solo exhibitions, of which the performance in MSU Zagreb should be singled out.
Has won a 1st prize on International exhibition of 16th Miniatures in Zaprešić, 2013.
His work is present in documentaristic monography "Kronotop hrvatskog performansa", author Suzana Marjanić.
Works and lives between Grožnjan and Umag in Istria.
