She is a member of HDLU (CAA) since 2012, and a member of Boonika association since 2013. Vanja lives and works in Zagreb.
Vanja is primary a paintress, although she is interested in other visual art forms. She makes her paintings to appear as a vision or intimate myth, focusing on the spiritual elements and relation between human and nature. Her works are a form of transhistorical passage – accenting the melancholic character of humanity lost in the world of post-apocalypse.
Works of Vanja Trobić are part of Erste bank art collection, Gallery of Slavonski Brod holdings, and are also in some private collections in Croatia and abroad.
